The Watersmete Benefice – Phased Re-Opening of our Churches
From 15th June, the Government allows the re-opening of our churches for supervised private prayer.
The churches in our Benefice are working to make some of our church buildings available once again, within the necessary hygiene regulations.
When everything is in place with regards to cleaning and supervision there will be rota of opening times displayed on our church doors.
Unfortunately, at the moment the churches can only be open during these supervised times, but we hope that this will be an opportunity for people to come and find peace and prayerfulness in a special place once again.
As we continue to live through this strange and sometimes troubling time, may we know that God is with us always and everywhere. Our prayer is valid and valued where-ever we choose to pray.
Jesus said, “My peace I give you.”
